About the Opportunity

Be part of our education team and work alongside Traditional Owners to develop innovative educational content rooted in Larrakia Country! Based in Darwin, Northern Territory, this position will be responsible for creating novel workshop content, organising, and facilitating workshops, hosting sleepovers and field trips.

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide strategic leadership and expert level implementation of the STEAM Education Program at MAGNT. 
  • Create and promote face to face and online workshop content and program activities across the Northern Territory.
  • Create and manage digital resources, data, and stakeholder information for optimal and streamlined engagement, organisation, and evaluation of the program.
  • Collaborate effectively with MAGNT staff, Larrakia Rangers and key external experts to create novel content and innovative experiences for participants in program activities.
  • Coordinate all contributors, stakeholders, and participants for the STEAM Education Program at MAGNT.
  • Be involved in the work that will underpin MAGNT’s educational strategies, philosophies, and approaches.

The Benefits

In addition to working for a leading cultural and scientific institution, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary of $120,000 per annum plus superannuation, salary sacrificing options, flexible working arrangement, and relocation assistance.
