About this role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Human Resources function. Driving the people related components of our MAGNT Strategic Plan, within our vision and values by:
- supporting our Executive and Board to execute MAGNT’s vision and strategy, while concurrently maintaining a commitment to a People-First Workplace Culture.
- driving effective and context relevant practice across the full spectrum of Employment Lifecycle activities, including Industrial Relations and Work Health & Safety (WHS) functions.
- driving commercial acumen across MAGNT people practices and drive and implement a Workforce Strategy to anticipate MAGNT resourcing.
- leading, developing and nurturing a small team to provide professional support, advice and guidance to staff and management.

Located on beautiful Larrakia Country at Bullocky Point and set in a scenic location overlooking the Arafura Sea, our purpose-built museum and art gallery, includes an on-site café and gift shop, both offering staff discounts.
Relocation expenses will be on offer if the preferred candidate is intrastate/interstate.
