About the role

Full-time | Ongoing

Salary: $70,000 p.a. + 12% super

Location: Alice Springs, NT

Reporting to the Regional Museums and Central Australia Site Manager this position assists with the administration of all aspects of Alice Springs daily operations, including facilities management, supervising & rostering of Visitor Experience Officers, admissions, retail, program bookings and events.

Selection Criteria 1: General experience in business, administration and procurement processes. *

Selection Criteria 2: Experience as a team leader or supervisor in a customer service environment with demonstrated experience in the development of rosters.*

Selection Criteria 3: High level oral and written communication skills including the ability to enter data accurately and efficiently in an environment requiring performance of multiple tasks and adherence to deadlines.*

Selection Criteria 4: Ability to use a range of software applications including POS systems.*

Selection Criteria 5: Demonstrated ability to confidently work within high pressure situations while maintaining a strict level of confidentiality.*

Selection Criteria 6: Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment.*

Selection Criteria 7: An appreciation for cultural diversity and an ability to work with people from varied backgrounds.*

Desirable Criteria 1: Knowledge of current museum exhibition principles and practices

Desirable Criteria 2: Experience in NTG software systems, EIMS, TRIM, VBS etc.

Desirable Criteria 3: Senior First Aid qualifications or the ability to obtain
